Ready to help you succeed in your first year of teaching!

Our Mission

NewTeacherHelp.org is a non-profit organization established in 2019 with the mission of providing research-based “best practice” guidance, mentorship, and training to new and novice teachers who seek support during their first year in the classroom. All of our support is provided through digital platforms and social media, or when schools and districts request such support for new teachers following their teacher preparation program.

Our Process

NewTeacherHelp.org will provide timely and individualized guidance, mentorship, and training to new and novice teachers who request help through our website and other social media accounts. This added support completes the loop between educator preparation programs, student teaching, and a teacher’s first year in the classroom when many campuses are unable to provide such support.

We will respond to new teacher questions and requests for support in a variety of digital formats, including online video conferencing, email, and posts on our social media accounts. We will provide similar services to new and novice teachers when requested by our partner schools and districts.

Unlike more formal support avenues such as professional development, this organization fills a gap in support provided to new teachers since it is informal and easily accessible through social media and digital formats, offering a way for teachers to ask quick questions and receive solutions right from the phones and computers.

Our Mentors

Our mentors work in education, but are available, as needed, for one-on-one virtual consultation. Simply contact us through social media messaging to set up a consultation for support.

In addition to mentorship, we will also accept donations to fund small (less than $100) scholarships to new teachers, through an application process, to support their classroom instruction and student success.
